FlowBeams’ needle-free jet injection technology relies on repetitive injection of very thin microfluidic jets. High jet velocity ensures penetration of the top skin layers, and the very small jet size minimizes pain. Fast repetitive injection results in controlled delivery of the desired volume.

Needle-free solutions based on academic research

FlowBeams is a spin-off from the University of Twente, and our technology relies on more than 10 years of academic research, led by co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer Prof. David Fernandez Rivas. He still leads the BuBble-Gun team of several postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates and students, working on fundamental aspects and complete understanding of needle-free jet injection.
