We are proud to announce that FlowBeams has been selected as one of the ten winners of the Academic Startup Competition 2024/2025—an initiative by Techleap, Universities of the Netherlands, and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.
The competition highlights the most promising academic startups in the Netherlands with the potential to grow into global technology leaders. FlowBeams, as a spin-off from the University of Twente, is honored to be recognized for our mission to make injections needle-free and fear-free.
Winning this award means we will join a dedicated internationalization program, including a curated trip to the United States this May. Together with the other selected startups, we will explore the US innovation ecosystem with visits to Salt Lake City, San Diego, and San Francisco. The journey—organized in collaboration with ScaleNL—offers a unique opportunity to connect with investors, industry leaders, and potential partners, and to accelerate our ambition to bring FlowBeams technology to the global health market.
This recognition reinforces the importance of science-driven innovation in healthcare and gives us momentum to keep pushing forward.
